Learning Passport / Global Sessions

You will receive a learning passport when you sign-in the morning of Learning College Day. The passports will have informative facts about our international students and the cultures that are represented on our campus.

Global Sessions: You can also use this passport to be entered into a drawing for a special prize if you attend three or more workshops with a global and cultural awareness designation (the icon on the left). Your presenter will mark your passport at the end of each session. After attending three workshops on this track you will be eligible to submit your passport in for a ticket to enter the drawing. Passports will be collected before the Learning College Day closing remarks at 3:10 pm.

Using MVConnect to Register

If you are not familiar with using MVConnect to register for workshops and require comprehensive instructions, please review the step-by-step instructions that are included at the end of the attached program document. You can also view these instructions separately.

Helpful hints when registering:

  • When registering please note that capacity for each session is listed first and available seats are listed second.
  • Check your portal for possible holds which may prevent you from registering. Examples of holds can include any unpaid balances, parking tickets, or library fees. Please contact the Cashier’s Office to make any payments on holds that need to be made.
  • Schedule Conflicts. You may have a schedule conflict if you are registered for a course that is held during the daytime on Tuesdays. Please contact the registration office for assistance if you have a schedule conflict and are unable to register for sessions.
