SUMMARY:MVLA: The Diverse Classroom
DESCRIPTION:This course is designed for faculty who are interested in inclusive course design and teaching strategies that promote positive student engagement and a sense of belonging in the diverse classroom. During the course\, Moraine Valley faculty will work as a participating cohort in the Cornell University MOOC offering entitled\, “Teaching and Learning in the Diverse Classroom.” The course offers a high quality research-based approach to inclusive teaching and learning that has been adapted to meet the specific needs of Moraine Valley faculty and students. The coursework consists of five self-paced learning modules and a final action plan.
