SUMMARY:MVLA: Supporting Instructors and At-Risk Students (CTLF-M240-530)
DESCRIPTION:In response to HB2170\, the developmental department was tasked with creating different courses that began to be offered in FA23\, which ultimately reduces the amount of time our students will be in remedial classes. This state mandate places at-risk students into transfer-level courses sooner and with less developmental instruction\, creating a potential issue for transfer-level instructors who may need to provide greater support for their students. This course offers support to instructors who want additional strategies to help all students succeed in their courses.  In addition\, it will connect them to campus resources that can provide support to both the instructor and students.
