Library

Library entrance with studentsThe Moraine Valley Library is a collaborative, active, and inclusive space where our students can get the information and resources they need to be successful. Librarians also collaborate with faculty to create information and digital literacy instruction. These sessions can be held in the library classrooms, in your regular classroom, or in online courses, and can be scheduled through the library website or by contacting a librarian. The library provides support for the curriculum on campus through our physical and electronic collections. These include textbooks, technology, DVDs, online research databases, streaming videos, and e-books. We deliver physical items to Blue Island Education Center and South West Education Center. On the main campus, the library has different study spaces for your students including, group study rooms, computer/multimedia labs, and quiet study space. If you are interested in how the library can support you, call, text, chat with, or visit a librarian. You can find us in Building L, 708-974-5234, library@morainevalley.edu, or through the library’s website.
