UTF-8 Icons provides an easy to access way of adding text-based icons to any web-based content. This is an easy way to add some level of graphics and division to basic web content.
Using UTF-8 Icons is easy. You can search the site for the desired icon, or simply click one of the many buttons to locate the desired icon. Once the icon is open on the screen, highlight the icon with your mouse, copy (via right-click or control/command-c), and paste it into your web-based content.
UTF-8 is a great way to add some graphical division to a Canvas course, especially when naming items and attempting to highlight tasks.
