This 3 hour training is designed to increase awareness of diversity, equity, and inclusion and its impact on Moraine Valley Community College; learn how cultural background can create assumptions, biases, and stereotypes; understand ways in which subtle and unconscious behaviors create barriers to diversity and inclusion; work with and value styles and approaches different from your own; have crucial conversations more comfortably and honestly across lines of difference; and clarify the need for personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
