You are invited to a faculty-focused interactive workshop entitled “Positive Classroom Interactions.” We have noticed that as the semester gets closer difficult conversations with students increase. How can we reduce the likelihood of the those stressful conversations and what can we do when they happen?
This workshop is designed to provide faculty members with tools to generate positive communication between themselves and their students. The workshop will also explore methods to de-escalate tense situations between faculty and students. We will also examine how diversity, equity and inclusion play a role in generating positive communications.
The goal of the workshop is to provide faculty members with tools to generate positive interactions and to de-escalate difficult conversations. The Positive Classroom Interactions Workshop is PGU eligible.
