This course will familiarize faculty members with what ChatGPT and AI are and how faculty members can use ChatGPT in their classrooms and in their assessments. The strengths and weaknesses of AI and AI detection will be discussed, as well as the ethics and concerns of AI’s presence in education and in our world today.

This event will discuss the fiscal challenges facing the United States including approximately $33 Trillion in national debt, a nearly $2 Trillion deficit, rising interest payments, and major disagreements between Democrats and Republicans on how to fix these challenges. We will also examine simulations that provide choices for reducing the deficit.
