Canvas Overview
The Canvas by Instructure learning management system provides resources to educate students in a learning environment that helps students and faculty collaborate, whether in a face-to-face, hybrid, or online environment.
The opportunities for utilizing Canvas are limitless. Most faculty use it as a supplemental resource for a traditional class to share the course syllabus, calendar, class files, take attendance, post grades, and communicate with students. Others may also take advantage of some of the more advanced features which allow faculty to post website links and videos, promote collaboration and group work via class discussion forums, collect assignments, create tests, surveys, and more!
