Accessibility checker Microsoft PowerPoint (2016 version for Windows and Mac) has a built-in accessibility checker. The tool is designed to aid an individual in determining a presentation’s accessibility issues. It does not cover all accessibility topics however, it does cover most of them and can be a time saver. The tool will scan a presentation and present a series of errors and warnings. Any issue can be reviewed by clicking on it, allowing the user to be presented with information on why and how to fix. The Audio Archive at the Internet Archive provides a wealth of audio recordings, including: Community audio Live music archives Free audiobooks and poetry Old radio programs and more. The Audio Archive can be used in a variety of courses, from the Humanities to the Social Sciences. Many of its recordings can easily be incorporated into an online course, a presentation, or other resource. Did you know Canvas has a Canvas Teacher app, available for iOS and Android phones and tablets? Canvas Teacher allows teachers to manage their courses and use Canvas more efficiently from a mobile device. Canvas Teacher allows teachers to facilitate their courses on the go, both inside and outside the classroom. This app provides quick access to grading submissions, communicating with students, and updating course content—three of the most frequent course facilitation tasks for teachers—through Announcements, Assignments, Discussions, and Quizzes.
