The new Canvas gradebook feels familiar, yet has a has a variety of new features, including the option to apply grade statuses and create missing and late policies. Additionally, the new gradebook is easier to navigate as grade columns can now be more easily arranged and filtered.
Things to note:
- Will we be officially upgrading to the new gradebook at the start of the summer 2019 term on Monday, May 20, 2019.
- During the spring semester, faculty may opt-in and begin using the new gradebook.

In this session, participants will learn about changes to the Canvas gradebook. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to: Describe changes in the new gradebook, navigate the new gradebook, sort and filter the gradebook, use the grade detail tray, and define late policies.
