Accessibility enables individuals of diverse abilities to have access to the same materials, content, audio, video, and images. Any content intended to be accessible must be created to ensure access across a broad spectrum which may then help individuals in unexpected ways.
The Center for Teaching & Learning provides a number of resources to help make content accessible to all.
Self-Guided Tutorials
The CTL provides self-guided tutorials on making documents, presentations, video, and Canvas content accessible. Each tutorial is intended to help an individual learn how to create accessible content. For more information on the tutorial, please see the Accessibility Self-Guided Tutorials page.
Accessibility Postings
The CTL provides a growing number of posts related to creating accessible content. These postings are available through the Toolbox, the CTL’s growing repository of information on a number of subjects. To view these posts, please refer to the site menu, hover over Toolbox, hover over Accessibility
Personal Consultation
The CTL offers one-on-one or small group consultations regarding accessibility to all faculty and staff. All consultations are kept confidential between the CTL and the participant.
