After you add an image to a course you are not done yet. You can add an image to your course then you need to edit the ‘Alt Text’ tag so it is done right. The Alt Text should describe the image and the importance of the image in context to how it is used in your course. Did you know that Canvas has a built in “Roll Call Attendance” tool? With the Attendance tool, instructors can keep track of course attendance by taking roll electronically. Instructors can choose to view the tool in a list or grid format and can customize the placement of each student in the seating chart. By default, all new Canvas courses are unpublished. While a course is unpublished, the assigned teacher can access and edit the course, but students cannot access or participate in the course.
